According to the article, here are the three biggest benefits of failing:

  1. You learn more. You also retain what you learn longer
  2. It might make you happier. Seems entrepreneurs report higher work-life satisfaction than salaried employees in a Wharton School of Business study.
  3. You become more marketable if you want to re-enter the corporate world. Some of the biggest old-school corporate giants are now nurturing entrepreneurial cultures.

Everything you do is a learning experience and that includes failure. You may never want to give you your small business for the corporate world, but rethinking any negative beliefs you have about failure can help you continue to navigate the entrepreneurial ups and downs with clarity and purpose.
