Did you know that the quality of your thoughts and beliefs, plus your level of engagement will determine your degree of success for every task and in the end, how successful you are in every facet of your life?

How to Increase Your Success

So if you want to be more successful, you need to look at two things.  Let’s break it down…

The first variable is the quality of your thoughts and beliefs…at the most basic level this means before you attempt a task, do you believe you can, or do you believe you can’t.  Do you believe you deserve to be happy, successful, maybe even rich if money is a concern?  Or do you believe you are unworthy of the good things in life?  If you walk into a situation feeling incapable or only moderately capable, your results will not be as successful as they could be.

The second thing to look at is your level of engagement.  The easiest way to break this down is do you “have” to, or “should” you, or do you “want” to or do you “choose” to.  If you “have” to, your level of engagement is low.  The energy you bring to the table minimal.  Your likelihood of success from the get go is only 0-25%. You start out at a huge deficit.  If you “should” do something – your success changes go up slightly to 25-50%.  Still not the best odds.  “Want” to moves you to a better place but doesn’t mean you are fully bought in, and gung ho about the task.  Now you are in the 50-75% range.  But why start out at a deficit in the first place?  If you can wrap your head around WHY the task is important to you instead of draining your energy with the downside of it all, you increase your odds of success to 75-100% just by showing up in a different frame of mind.

So what’s not working for you in your life or business right now?  What do you believe about that situation? Are you taking personal responsibility or blaming some outside person or circumstance?  Do you know you can get the job done, or do you doubt your abilities?  And moving forward, how engaged are you in tackling the challenge and creating a different outcome?

Shift your beliefs and your engagement to higher levels and you will get more done and have greater success each step of the way which only leads to greater success overall.
